About Our Library

Our library is a magical place! Not only do we read and learn, but we create in our Makerspace, too!

Park View Library's Mission
The Park View library will be a warm and welcoming environment to all patrons. It will be staffed with friendly and helpful personnel.  We will strive to provide the students and staff with the guidance and tools necessary to become information literate leaders of the 21st century. Our ambition is to help students become college and career ready.

Circulation Policies
  • Kindergarten students may check out 1 book until after fall break. Then they will begin bringing home one book for attempting to read by themselves, and one to enjoy someone else reading to them.
  • 1st- 5th graders may check out 3 books.
  • Books may be checked out for 2 weeks and may be renewed once if needed.
  • Students should bring their books every time they have library class.

   Book Care
  • Students are responsible for all checked-out books. This includes bar codes, AR labels, and AR tape.
  • Please keep library books away from pets and small children to avoid them getting damaged.
  • When you read your books, please make sure your hands are clean, and keep books away from food and drink.
  • If a book does get damaged or lost, we ask that you pay for the replacement so that we can continue to provide an ever-growing collection of reading materials for our students.
